CBS Young & Restless Episode Monday August 10: Matt and Phyllis Do the Unthinkable
The drama in Genoa City is about to reach another explosive level as Tuesday, August 11, brings shocking developments for Nick Newman, Victoria, Kyle Abbott, Devon Winters, and the mysterious return of Matt Clark. After everything Nick has been through, it seems his downward spiral is far from over.
Nick has been struggling with addiction and recently promised Adam that he would return to rehab following the vow renewal. However, instead of getting the help he desperately needs, Nick secretly went looking for more pills and ended up hiding out in a questionable motel.

His disturbing nightmare, in which Sharon appeared as an addict and Nick was accused of killing Connor with his fentanyl stash, should have been enough to convince him that he had reached a dangerous point. Yet Nick continues to resist facing reality.
Things take an even darker turn when Nick meets his new neighbor, Marie Wilson. At first, Nick simply wants to be left alone, but Marie refuses to give him the privacy he wants. Instead, she encourages him to open up and have some fun.
Unfortunately, Nick eventually gives in to temptation. The spoilers suggest that he gets high with Marie, pushing himself even closer to another devastating rock bottom.
But Marie’s sudden appearance raises an important question. Is she really just another troubled stranger, or is something much bigger happening behind the scenes?
With Matt Clark back in Genoa City and apparently working with Phyllis, there is plenty of room for suspicion. Could Marie secretly be connected to Matt’s plans? It seems almost too convenient that she appears right when Nick is vulnerable and isolated.
Meanwhile, Victoria Newman is desperately searching for answers. She has already learned that Nick never arrived at the rehab facility, leaving her deeply worried about her brother.
While at Crimson Lights, Victoria finds herself overwhelmed by the situation. Then, unexpectedly, Kyle Abbott arrives and offers her comfort. What begins as a simple embrace quickly takes a surprising turn.

According to the spoilers, Kyle suddenly begins seeing Victoria in a romantic light. The two share an intense moment, and they nearly kiss.
Could this be the beginning of a shocking new romance? Or is Kyle simply searching for an escape from the chaos surrounding his own family? Whatever the answer, their unexpected chemistry could create another major complication in Genoa City.
Elsewhere, Devon Winters is experiencing a completely different kind of crisis. He has begun questioning whether his enormous wealth has turned him into an entitled person. Determined to change his priorities, Devon calls Lily, Nate, and Abby together for an important meeting.
He may reveal that he wants to give away a significant portion of his inheritance and focus less on money and more on making a meaningful difference.
However, not everyone is convinced by Matt Clark’s supposed transformation either. Mariah and Sharon have already made it clear that they want him out of town, but Matt refuses to leave after receiving a job offer. Billy remains suspicious and believes Matt may be hiding his true intentions.
With Nick sinking deeper, Victoria and Kyle getting dangerously close, Devon reconsidering his fortune, and Matt potentially plotting behind the scenes, Tuesday’s episode promises to deliver plenty of twists. The biggest question remains: can Nick survive his latest rock bottom, and is Marie really who she claims to be?
