CBS Y&R FULL [8/17/2026] The Young and The Restless Full Episode || Y&R August 17 Full Mondays

Monday’s episode of The Young and the Restless delivers major developments for Billy, Lily, Cane, and Nate. Billy doubles down on his claim that Chancellor Industries belongs to the Abbott family, while Lily prepares to fight back. At the same time, Nate takes an important step toward returning to the operating room.

Billy meets with Lily and Cane and makes it clear that he has no intention of backing away from Chancellor. He believes an old agreement involving John Abbott proves that the company should ultimately belong to the Abbotts. Cane is furious and dismisses Billy’s claim as nothing more than an obsession.

Lily has had enough of Billy’s behavior. She fires him and warns that his actions could cost him everything that matters. Rather than backing down, Billy becomes even more determined to prove that Chancellor is rightfully his.

Cane realizes that he needs help. Billy’s determination makes the situation too serious to handle alone, so Cane begins looking for allies who can help stop Billy from taking control.

Lily also starts considering her own strategy. She understands that Billy’s connection to the Abbott family gives him powerful resources, meaning she and Cane will need to be equally aggressive if they want to protect Chancellor.

Jack, Ashley, and Traci find themselves drawn into the conflict as Jack reveals a secret. The revelation could give the Abbott family important information about John’s history with Chancellor and potentially influence how they view Billy’s claim.

Ashley appears more sympathetic toward Billy after learning additional details. She begins wondering whether John’s involvement with Chancellor really was intended to benefit Billy and the Abbott family.

Meanwhile, Nate’s future takes an exciting turn. After spending years away from surgery, he has decided to move forward with surgery on his injured hand in hopes of returning to medicine.

Stephanie takes Nate’s decision seriously and goes out of her way to help him. She examines his hand and contacts a surgeon who may be able to perform the procedure. If the surgery succeeds, Nate could potentially return to the operating room.

Nate is understandably nervous about the possibility. Returning to surgery would mean reclaiming the career he lost, but the operation also carries uncertainty. He knows there is no guarantee that his hand will fully recover.

Stephanie encourages him not to give up on his dream. Their conversation gives Nate renewed hope, especially when Stephanie suggests that he could once again become the talented surgeon he used to be.

Nate’s personal storyline provides a sharp contrast to Billy’s corporate war. While Billy is fighting to reclaim something he believes belongs to his family, Nate is fighting to reclaim a part of himself that he thought he had lost forever.

Elsewhere, the Newman family’s concerns about Nick continue. His recent struggles have left Victor, Nikki, Sharon, and others worried about his condition, with the situation expected to remain important throughout the week.

By the end of Monday’s episode, Billy’s battle for Chancellor is becoming an increasingly dangerous corporate war. Lily and Cane are preparing to fight back, while Jack’s secret could provide another unexpected twist.

At the same time, Nate finally has a possible path back to medicine.

Billy may believe Chancellor Industries is his family’s destiny, but Lily and Cane are not surrendering without a fight. Meanwhile, Nate’s decision to undergo surgery could give him the second chance he has been waiting for. Monday sets the stage for corporate warfare, family secrets, medical drama, and major emotional consequences in Genoa City.
