Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful continues the emotional fallout from the Monaco crisis. Finn realizes that his marriage to Steffy is in serious danger and makes another attempt to repair their relationship, while Steffy struggles with whether she can ever fully trust him again.
Finn knows that an apology alone will not be enough. His decisions surrounding Sheila have left Steffy deeply hurt, and he understands that rebuilding their marriage will require more than simply explaining his actions.
Finn approaches Steffy and tries to make amends. He wants her to understand why he made the choices he did, but Steffy remains overwhelmed by everything that happened in Monaco.

The biggest issue is trust. Steffy may still have strong feelings for Finn, but she needs to know that he will make different choices in the future. Until she feels safe with him again, reconciliation remains uncertain.
Meanwhile, Carter continues to be an unexpected source of comfort for Steffy. After both have experienced serious relationship problems, they find themselves leaning on each other emotionally.
Their connection could become much more complicated than either of them expected. Steffy is vulnerable after her painful separation from Finn, while Carter is also struggling with his own marriage and the difficult news surrounding Daphne.
Carter may not initially intend to begin another romance. For now, he and Steffy appear to be offering each other emotional support during an extremely difficult period.
Finn could nevertheless become increasingly worried about Carter’s presence in Steffy’s life. The possibility that she could find comfort with another man makes Finn realize how much his own mistakes have cost him.
Ridge also remains furious with Finn. He believes Finn failed to protect Steffy and allowed Sheila to create another crisis for his daughter. Ridge’s anger makes Finn’s attempt to repair the marriage even more difficult.
Elsewhere, Daphne and Carter work toward an understanding. Their conversation could help clarify where their relationship stands and what they both want for the future.
The Electra and Dylan storyline is also building toward another confrontation. Katie becomes suspicious of Dylan’s motives, while Electra’s growing determination to protect herself and her family puts her directly at odds with Dylan.
By the end of Tuesday’s episode, Steffy is still caught between her lingering love for Finn and her fear that she cannot trust him completely. Finn, meanwhile, must prove that his regret is genuine rather than temporary.
