DOOL August 18 Spoilers JJ’s Risky Mission, Chanel’s Emergency Birth & The DiMera Civil War!
Tuesday’s episode of Days of Our Lives continues the explosive drama in Salem as several families face difficult choices. JJ turns to Gwen for help, Theo confronts Johnny, and Chanel’s dangerous labor continues to create fear and uncertainty. Meanwhile, Tate and Holly attempt to play matchmaker, while Aaron and Ari spend time with baby Trey.

JJ knows that he cannot simply sit back while the situation surrounding Salem continues to deteriorate. He reaches out to Gwen, hoping that she may have information or assistance that could help him accomplish his risky mission.
Gwen is unlikely to trust JJ completely. She has her own reasons for being cautious, and getting involved in another dangerous scheme could put her in an even more difficult position.
JJ nevertheless presses forward. His decision could have consequences for several people, particularly if his plans bring him into direct conflict with the DiMera family.
Meanwhile, Theo confronts Johnny. Theo has plenty of reasons to be angry, and he is no longer willing to keep his feelings bottled up. Johnny’s actions have created tension within the family, and Theo wants answers.
Johnny finds himself under increasing pressure as the people around him begin questioning his choices. The confrontation with Theo could force him to defend himself while also revealing more about what has been happening behind the scenes.
The DiMera family remains deeply divided. Old rivalries and new secrets continue pushing the family members against one another, creating the possibility of another major showdown.
At the hospital, Chanel’s emergency birth remains one of the most emotional stories in Salem. She has already gone into labor, turning what should have been a joyful occasion into a terrifying medical crisis.
Johnny is understandably terrified as he waits for news about Chanel and their baby. The uncertainty is almost unbearable, especially because the pregnancy has already been surrounded by so much drama.
Chanel fights through the pain, determined to bring her child safely into the world. Doctors and loved ones must remain focused as the situation develops.
The birth storyline is particularly emotional because it comes at the same time that Abe and Theo are dealing with devastating news concerning Lexie. Salem is therefore experiencing both the arrival of new life and the possibility of another heartbreaking goodbye.
Elsewhere, Tate and Holly decide to play matchmaker. Their attempt to bring two people closer could create an unexpected romantic development, although their plan may not go exactly as they expect.
Aaron and Ari also spend time with baby Trey. Their scenes provide a softer moment amid the chaos surrounding Salem, while Aaron’s connection to his biological son continues to raise questions about his future role in Trey’s life.
Julie also has an unexpected development during her date with Foster. What begins as a pleasant outing suddenly takes an unforeseen turn, adding another layer of uncertainty to the episode.
