Gwen is finally back in Salem after everything she went through in Alamainia. Her ordeal has left her with plenty of emotional baggage, and she is now trying to figure out what comes next. Just when she thinks she can begin rebuilding her life, JJ unexpectedly reaches out to her.
JJ’s decision immediately raises questions. As Gwen’s half-brother, he has a complicated history with her, and his sudden interest may not be simply a friendly family visit. Gwen has already been dealing with Rafe and other people asking for her cooperation, so JJ’s request could place her in another difficult situation.

Julie and Foster also continue exploring their new relationship. Their latest date takes an unexpected turn when the pair heads out for another evening together. They even cross paths with Roman, creating an awkward but entertaining moment.
Aaron and Ari meanwhile spend time with baby Trey. Their scenes offer a sweet family moment as Aaron continues developing his relationship with his biological son.
The episode also keeps the emotional pressure surrounding Chanel’s labor in the background. Chanel has already gone into labor, and the situation is expected to become increasingly frightening as the week progresses. Johnny therefore has even more reason to worry while dealing with Theo’s anger.
