Thursday’s episode of Days of Our Lives delivers another emotional day in Salem as broken relationships and painful secrets continue to collide. Javi finds himself confronted by Gus, while Stephanie turns to Chad for support during the collapse of her marriage. Meanwhile, Theo remains furious with Johnny, and Gwen receives an unexpected surprise involving Leo.
Javi is already struggling with everything that has happened surrounding Leo. His relationship has been placed under enormous pressure, and now Gus decides it is time to confront him. Gus wants answers, especially after realizing that Javi’s feelings for Leo may not have disappeared as completely as he hoped.
The confrontation puts Javi in an uncomfortable position. He knows that Gus has become increasingly suspicious, and avoiding the truth may no longer be possible. Javi must decide whether to protect his current relationship or finally admit what he really wants.
Meanwhile, Stephanie turns to Chad. Her marriage to Alex has become increasingly complicated because of Joy and the ongoing situation involving their daughter Kelsey. Stephanie is emotionally exhausted and needs someone she can trust, making Chad an important source of comfort during this difficult period.
Alex, meanwhile, continues to stand by Joy. His decision creates even more tension because Stephanie already feels that Joy has come between her and Alex. The situation could soon become impossible for the couple to repair if Alex continues putting Joy’s needs ahead of his marriage.
Theo is dealing with another painful betrayal. He still refuses to forgive Johnny for keeping the truth about Lexie from him. Johnny may have believed he was protecting people by remaining silent, but Theo sees the secrecy as an unforgivable betrayal. Their conflict could become even more explosive as Lexie’s condition continues to deteriorate.
Elsewhere, Gwen reunites with Leo. Their unexpected reunion brings back complicated memories, especially considering everything that has happened between Leo, Gwen, Javi, and Dimitri.
Leo has been desperate to escape Dimitri’s control. After finally telling Dimitri that their relationship is over, Leo now has an opportunity to reconnect with people from his past. His reunion with Gwen could therefore become an important emotional turning point.
At the same time, Joy receives devastating news concerning her health. Kayla has warned that the worst-case scenario could involve paralysis, leaving Joy terrified about what her future might look like.
