CBS The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers Week of August 20 (8/20/26 – 8/24/26)
The Bold and the Beautiful is heading into another dramatic stretch as secrets, betrayal, romance, and family conflicts continue to collide in Los Angeles. Steffy is struggling with enormous guilt after what happened with Carter, while Carter desperately tries to protect his marriage to Daphne. At the same time, R.J. sees a major opportunity for Electra that could create another battle at Forrester Creations.
On Thursday, August 20, Steffy continues struggling with the secret she is keeping from Finn. She tries to tell him the truth about her encounter with Carter, but Finn repeatedly interrupts her with his own apologies and promises to repair their marriage. Steffy is left carrying the guilt alone as Finn remains unaware of what really happened.
Meanwhile, Carter is desperate to keep his betrayal hidden. He reunites with Daphne and attempts to rebuild their marriage without revealing what happened with Steffy. Daphne and Carter reach an understanding, giving their relationship another chance even though Carter knows he is hiding something enormous from his wife.
At Forrester Creations, R.J. has a surprising idea for Zende. With Hope for the Future no longer under Hope’s direction, R.J. believes Electra could become the face of a new youth-focused fashion collection. He approaches Zende with his proposal, potentially giving Electra a major career opportunity.
However, Electra’s professional opportunity comes at an awkward time. Her conflict with Dylan continues to create tension, especially because both women have complicated feelings surrounding Will. Their rivalry could become even more intense if Electra discovers that Dylan and Will are growing closer.
Friday brings another uncomfortable situation when Dylan and Will encounter R.J. and Electra at the Bikini Bar. The unexpected meeting could leave all four characters feeling awkward, especially given the romantic history between them. Meanwhile, Daphne opens up to Ridge, potentially giving him information about Carter’s increasingly complicated marriage.
The events of this period also set the stage for the following week. Carter and Steffy’s secret is becoming harder to contain, while Dylan’s actions continue attracting suspicion. Darcy Dylan, played by soap veteran Kelly Sullivan, is also preparing to enter the story as Dylan’s mother, bringing a completely new family connection to Los Angeles.
Steffy’s biggest problem remains Finn. She wants to repair their marriage, but every loving gesture from Finn makes her feel even more guilty. If Finn eventually discovers the truth about Carter, the consequences could be devastating.
Carter is facing an equally dangerous situation. Daphne believes they can move forward, but Carter knows that one confession could destroy everything. Keeping Steffy’s secret may therefore become the biggest threat to his marriage.
