Monday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful begins with secrets threatening to explode at Forrester Creations. Steffy and Carter are already overwhelmed by guilt over what happened between them, but they still cannot agree on what to do next. Meanwhile, Will and Dylan put their recent problems aside and enjoy a private night together.
Steffy knows that keeping the truth from Finn is becoming more difficult every day. She is deeply troubled by what happened with Carter and appears ready to consider confessing everything to her husband. Carter, however, believes revealing the affair would destroy too many lives.
The two find themselves caught in an emotional confrontation.
Carter wants Steffy to keep their secret buried, while Steffy struggles with the guilt that is consuming her. Neither realizes that someone is about to discover that something is seriously wrong between them.
That person is Ridge.
Ridge catches Steffy and Carter alone together at Forrester Creations. Their conversation immediately raises his suspicions, especially because both of them appear nervous and uncomfortable. Ridge refuses to simply walk away without an explanation.
Steffy and Carter are forced to scramble.
They know they cannot reveal the real reason they were together, so they must create a believable explanation before Ridge asks too many questions. But Ridge knows his daughter well, and he may recognize that Steffy is hiding something.
The confrontation could become even more dangerous if Ridge begins connecting recent events.
Steffy’s behavior has already changed since her problems with Finn began. Carter has also been acting differently around Daphne, and Ridge could eventually realize that these two situations are connected.
Meanwhile, Will and Dylan are taking their relationship in another direction.
After their recent awkward encounter with R.J. and Electra, the pair decides to put the drama behind them. They spend a special night alone at the beach house, allowing their attraction to grow stronger.
For Will, the relationship feels increasingly real.
Dylan has made it clear that she wants Will, but their romance continues creating problems with the people around them. Katie remains suspicious of Dylan, while Electra is not ready to completely let go of her feelings.
Their private evening could therefore create another problem if someone discovers just how serious their relationship has become.
Elsewhere, the tension surrounding Steffy and Carter continues to build. Carter is trying to protect his marriage to Daphne, while Steffy wants to repair her relationship with Finn. The problem is that neither marriage can truly move forward while this secret remains hidden.
By the end of Monday’s episode, Ridge may still not know the full truth, but his suspicions are growing.
