Victor’s Next Move Will Shock Everyone Next on Young and the Restless August 26

Wednesday, August 26th is shaping up to be another explosive day in Genoa City, with the Newman, Chancellor, and Abbott families all caught in complicated situations.

At the center of the Newman drama is Nick Newman, who continues to struggle during rehab while trying to rebuild his relationship with his family.

Nick has been spending time with Marie, even bonding over puzzles, but beneath those quieter moments is the enormous pressure he feels about returning home and confronting everyone he disappointed with his lies.

Nikki Newman has been desperate to make sure Nick gets the support he needs. She recently turned to Jack Abbott and asked him to help sponsor Nick, believing that Jack could provide the guidance necessary to keep her son on the right path. Victor Newman, however, reacted furiously.

He ordered Jack away from his property and made it very clear that he does not want his longtime rival involved in Nick’s recovery. Victor’s anger is deeply connected to Jack’s history with Nikki, particularly their infamous night together.

But Wednesday could bring a surprising development. Nick is expected to open up to Victor about his struggles, something that will leave Victor extremely pleased. Victor will likely see Nick’s willingness to confide in him as proof that their father-son relationship is becoming stronger.

Yet there may be much more happening beneath the surface. Could Nick be deliberately telling Victor what he wants to hear while secretly relying on Jack for support?

If Nick is secretly working with Jack as his sponsor, the consequences could be enormous. Victor would undoubtedly feel betrayed if he discovered that Jack had been helping his son behind his back.

What begins as Nick’s attempt to protect his recovery could therefore trigger another massive war between the Newman and Abbott families.

Meanwhile, Lily Winters finds herself facing a completely different kind of crisis. Lily recently convinced Holden Novak to turn down Billy Abbott’s job offer, warning him that Billy is a disastrous mentor who could ultimately lead him into trouble. Holden chose family over Billy’s tempting opportunity, but Lily’s own problems are far from resolved.

On Wednesday, Lily will reportedly seek advice from Jack Abbott, raising an important question: why Jack? Perhaps Lily genuinely needs guidance about the complicated business situation surrounding Chancellor. But there could be another motive.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers September 1 - 5, 2025

Could Lily be secretly preparing a major corporate move designed to push Billy completely out of the picture? If she wants Jack and Jabot on her side, a corporate battle could be coming sooner than anyone expects.

There is also the possibility that Lily is trying to protect another piece of her past without alerting Nate Hastings. Whatever her real intentions are, approaching Jack could place her directly in the middle of another dangerous power struggle.

Finally, the Abbott family is preparing for its own storm. Victoria Newman has proposed an intriguing joint project to Kyle Abbott, and their business partnership may soon become much more complicated with a shocking kiss. Diane Jenkins, however, is already suspicious of Kyle’s plans.

Diane has never been someone who ignores warning signs, and she may quickly realize that Kyle is becoming involved with the enemy. Could she attempt to sabotage his deal with Victoria to protect Jabot? Or is Kyle deliberately allowing Victoria to believe she has the upper hand while secretly pursuing his own agenda?

Wednesday could reveal whether Kyle is becoming more like his ruthless corporate rivals—or whether Diane’s suspicions are completely justified. With Nick hiding possible secrets, Lily making mysterious moves, and Kyle caught between Victoria and his family, Genoa City is heading toward another unforgettable day of betrayal, strategy, and shocking revelations.
