Full CBS New Y&R Thursday, 8/27/2026 The Young And The Restless (August 27,2026)
Thursday’s episode of The Young and the Restless brings explosive developments to Genoa City as business rivalry turns into something much more personal. Kyle and Victoria find themselves crossing a dangerous line, while Lily challenges Billy to prove that he deserves control of Chancellor. Meanwhile, Adam begins demanding answers from Phyllis about Matt Clark.
The biggest shock involves Kyle and Victoria.
What began as a carefully planned business rivalry between Jabot and Vibrante quickly becomes much more complicated. Kyle and Victoria have been spending more time together while preparing their corporate battle, but the tension between them has become impossible to ignore.

On Thursday, they finally give in to their attraction.
Their encounter takes place in Jack’s office, making the situation even more dangerous. What happens between them could have serious consequences if anyone discovers the truth.
Kyle and Victoria may insist that it was only a one-time mistake.
But their chemistry suggests otherwise.
The two struggle to stay away from each other, and another kiss makes it clear that their connection is becoming more than just a business strategy. If Diane or Claire discovers what has really been happening, Kyle could face a devastating confrontation with his family.
Victoria also has plenty to lose.
Her involvement with Kyle could create another major Newman-Abbott scandal, especially if Victor discovers that his daughter has become involved with an Abbott while the two families are supposedly competing against each other.
Meanwhile, Lily puts Billy to the ultimate test.
Lily has offered Billy a remarkable opportunity. Instead of continuing their battle over Chancellor through lawyers and lawsuits, she tells him that he can have the company if he can prove that he is truly the right person to lead it.
Billy now has to make his case.
He insists that he has learned from his past mistakes and is ready to take responsibility. Billy believes Chancellor could finally give him the chance to prove himself without Jill, Jack or anyone else constantly questioning his decisions.
Lily listens carefully.
She knows Billy has failed before, but she also remembers the man she once believed in. After hearing his argument, Lily decides she needs time before making her final decision.
That leaves Billy waiting anxiously for her answer.
Elsewhere, Adam questions Phyllis about Matt Clark.
Adam is suspicious of Phyllis and wants to know exactly what connection she has to Matt. With Matt currently missing, Adam fears there could be more to Phyllis’ involvement than she is admitting.
Phyllis refuses to be easily intimidated.
She also has questions of her own and wants to know whether Victor or the Newman family has anything to do with Matt’s disappearance. Her frustration grows as she realizes that she may be losing control of the situation.
Matt’s absence could become even more alarming.
If Phyllis cannot locate him, she may have to consider the possibility that something terrible has happened. And if Victor knows more than he is saying, Phyllis could soon find herself facing one of the most dangerous confrontations of her life.
Will Kyle and Victoria regret crossing the line? Can Billy convince Lily that he deserves Chancellor, and what is Adam really trying to uncover about Phyllis and Matt?
