Tuesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless brings another wave of secrets and tension to Genoa City. Matt Clark continues moving in the shadows, Phyllis searches desperately for answers, and Sally begins to worry that Billy’s obsession with Chancellor Industries is putting their future together at risk.

The biggest mystery surrounds Matt Clark.

Matt has been keeping his true intentions hidden, but Tuesday could finally reveal another part of his plan. Instead of disappearing completely, Matt makes a surprising visit to Patty Williams.

Patty is one of the few people Matt has been able to trust.

Their connection is already raising questions, especially because Phyllis has been desperately trying to find Matt. Now that he has deliberately sought out Patty, it appears that he needs something from her.

Matt may have a proposal.

Whatever he offers Patty could be extremely difficult to refuse. He may know exactly which buttons to push to convince her to cooperate with him.

But Patty should be careful.

Matt has already shown that he is willing to manipulate people when it benefits him. If Patty agrees to his plan, she could find herself pulled into another dangerous situation.

Meanwhile, Phyllis is running out of options.

She has become increasingly determined to discover where Matt went and whether Victor had anything to do with his disappearance. Phyllis even tried getting information from Nick, but instead of helping her, Nick gave her a chilling warning.

Now Phyllis turns to an unlikely source for advice.

The person she chooses could be someone she normally would never trust. Yet Phyllis may realize that she needs help from someone outside her usual circle if she wants to uncover Matt’s whereabouts.

Her decision could surprise everyone.

Phyllis knows she is taking a major risk, especially because Matt may be more dangerous than she realizes. If her investigation continues, she could eventually discover something that puts her directly in his path.

At the same time, Sally becomes increasingly worried about Billy.

Billy has become completely consumed by the battle over Chancellor. He is determined to prove that the Abbott family has a legitimate claim to the company, and he refuses to slow down even as the conflict becomes more complicated.

Sally wants to support Billy.

But she also wants him to think about their future together.

She may begin wondering whether Billy’s obsession with Chancellor is becoming more important to him than their relationship. The more time he spends fighting Lily and Cane, the more Sally fears that their plans for the future are being pushed aside.

Sally could eventually reach a breaking point.
