FULL | The Young And The Restless Spoilers WEDNESDAY, Sep 2-2026 | CBS Y&R Spoilers 9.2.2026
Wednesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless brings major developments to Genoa City as Billy Abbott prepares to deliver shocking news to Lily Winters and Cane Ashby. Meanwhile, Audra finally opens up to Sally about a secret from her past, while Lauren and Michael become increasingly concerned about Phyllis and the dangerous path she appears to be taking.
The biggest development involves Billy, Lily and Cane.

Billy has been caught in the middle of the ongoing battle over Chancellor Industries, but his priorities are beginning to change. With Sally expecting their baby, Billy knows that his personal future deserves more attention.
Now he has something important to tell Lily and Cane.
Billy’s announcement could completely change the direction of the Chancellor fight. He may be preparing to step away from the battle, at least temporarily, so that he can focus on Sally and their unborn child.
But Lily and Cane are unlikely to simply accept the news.
They have their own plans for Chancellor, and Billy’s decision could create an entirely new set of problems. If Billy has another strategy hidden behind his announcement, Lily and Cane may soon realize that he is not giving up as easily as they think.
Meanwhile, Audra opens up to Sally.
Audra is normally extremely guarded about her personal history. She rarely allows people to see her vulnerable side, but Sally has become someone she trusts.
Now Audra decides to reveal something from her past.
The confession could explain why Audra behaves the way she does and why she has always been so determined to protect herself. Sally may be surprised by what she hears, but she is likely to offer Audra the understanding she needs.
Their friendship could become even stronger as a result.
Elsewhere, Phyllis continues chasing Matt Clark.
Her latest move has Lauren and Michael deeply concerned. Phyllis believes she is finally getting closer to the truth, but her growing involvement with Matt could be clouding her judgment.
Lauren is particularly worried.
She knows Matt has a dangerous history and fears Phyllis does not fully understand what she is getting herself into. Michael shares those concerns, leaving the two wondering whether Phyllis is making a serious mistake.
Phyllis, however, may refuse to listen.
She believes she can handle Matt and insists on finding out what he is really planning. But the closer she gets to him, the more difficult it may become for her to see the danger clearly.
And Matt may be counting on exactly that.
As Wednesday’s episode unfolds, Genoa City becomes increasingly divided between those fighting for control and those trying to protect the people they love.
