The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: 3 Reasons Why Finn Forgives Steffy’s Unfaithful Night with Carter

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has been groveling to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), but he doesn’t realize she’s committed a far worse betrayal.

Is forgiveness in Steffy’s future once her passionate encounter with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) comes to light?

In the August 31 episode, Steffy dropped a hint about what she did, but Finn made it clear that he didn’t need to know what happened.

It doesn’t matter to Finn as long as Steffy is willing to put the past behind them and look to the future.

Of course, Finn might have a very different reaction if he knew Steffy and Carter stripped down together at Forrester Creations!

You can bet Finn will lash out once the truth is exposed, but we can think of three reasons why he’ll ultimately forgive Steffy’s unfaithful night with Carter.

1) Finn will blame himself for Steffy’s drunken behavior

For starters, we have to consider Finn’s role in what went down. Finn kept secrets about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) flying to Monaco and let Steffy get blindsided on the beach.

That led to Steffy’s booze-filled flight back to Los Angeles, so she wasn’t thinking clearly when she landed under those blankets with Carter.

Part of Finn will no doubt blame himself for Steffy’s actions despite any anger he might feel.

That could be a factor when it comes time for Finn to decide whether he can forgive Steffy’s betrayal.

2) Finn was created as a love interest for Steffy

We should also think about the fact that Finn was created as a love interest for Steffy and has filled that role ever since his debut in 2020.

Steffy and Finn have faced some rocky times over the years, but they’ve consistently been portrayed as soulmates with an almost cosmic connection.

It’s tough to believe the show will just ditch Finn and Steffy’s romance at this point, especially since that would probably lead to Finn’s exit news.

Finn honestly doesn’t seem like a character who can exist outside of his relationship with Steffy for very long, so that’s another great reason for him to forgive her.

3) Finn and Steffy always work it out eventually

B&B history also gives us a pretty good idea of what Finn will do once Steffy’s betrayal is revealed.

Steffy and Finn have both made mistakes throughout their relationship, but they always find a way to work things out in the end.

Even if Finn walks away from Steffy for a while, their reunion will likely be inevitable.

Since Steffy and Finn have overcome so many challenges already, it’s doubtful this will be the final one that breaks them.
