Phyllis has been keeping quiet about Matt Clark’s motel hideout and his troubled attempt to find redemption, but she has also suggested a romantic trip that could take him far away from Genoa City.

Now fans have to wonder whether Jack and Diane could somehow cross paths with Phyllis and Matt during their Tahiti adventure. If that happens, the confrontation could be unforgettable.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman finds himself in another compromising situation. Sharon is already deeply concerned that Marie Kirkland could pull Nick back into his addiction struggles.

Although Nick previously saved Marie from the terrible motel situation, Sharon believes he cannot spend the rest of his life rescuing her.

Thankfully, her symptoms were only caused by round ligament pain, but the incident terrified Billy enough to make a dramatic decision. He rushed to Lily’s penthouse and announced that he was stepping away from the Chancellor fight.
