The pressure inside Forrester Creations is reaching a dangerous breaking point, and one locked office door could be enough to destroy multiple marriages.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan and Carter Walton are desperately trying to keep their devastating secret hidden, but Daphne Rose is beginning to notice that something is seriously wrong. On Wednesday, September 2, the tension explodes when Daphne unexpectedly discovers Steffy inside Carter’s office under highly suspicious circumstances.

Daphne is not naïve. She already questioned why Carter seemed completely unsurprised when he learned about Steffy’s disastrous encounter with Sheila in Monaco.

His reaction immediately raised questions. How did Carter know so much? Had Steffy told him everything? Carter struggled to provide a convincing explanation, because he knows the truth could destroy his newly repaired marriage to Daphne.

The situation becomes even more dangerous when Carter and Steffy meet privately inside the Forrester CEO office. Carter desperately needs reassurance that Steffy has not confessed their one-night betrayal to Finn. But their attempt to have a private conversation creates the worst possible mistake: they lock the door.

Finn is convinced that his decision to hide Sheila’s presence from Steffy damaged their marriage beyond repair. He desperately wants to make things right, never realizing that Steffy is carrying an entirely different secret.

Finn eventually turns to Lee Finnegan for support, and their emotional conversation reveals just how much guilt both of them are carrying.

Lee blames herself for the Monaco disaster because she accidentally left sensitive information visible on her laptop, allowing Sheila to discover Finn and Steffy’s travel plans. Finn, however, refuses to let Lee carry all that guilt. He insists that he should have handled the situation differently and been completely honest with Steffy from the beginning.

That makes the situation even more heartbreaking. Finn is trying to repair his marriage through honesty while Steffy is protecting a secret that could completely destroy it.

Daphne is now the wild card. She has noticed Carter’s strange behavior, Steffy’s nervousness, the locked office, and the unmistakable tension between them. If she continues asking questions, the truth may finally come crashing down.
