Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Is Andre the Mystery Man Wearing Stefano’s Phoenix Ring?

The latest Days of Our Lives promo for September 7–11 has fans obsessing over one haunting question: Who is the mysterious man slipping Stefano’s legendary Phoenix ring onto his finger? The brief image has already sparked wild theories, and one of the biggest possibilities is none other than Andre DiMera.

EJ DiMera is already under enormous pressure because Stefano’s priceless Phoenix ring has disappeared. The ring was left behind at the DiMera mansion, and Rita Leslie apparently seized the opportunity to take it.

But Rita hardly seems powerful enough to be acting alone. The fact that the ring soon appears on the hand of an unidentified man strongly suggests that someone else is pulling the strings.

Naturally, fans immediately began asking whether Andre could somehow be behind it. Andre has always been associated with power, manipulation, and the DiMera family’s darkest schemes.

If the writers really wanted to deliver a jaw-dropping surprise, bringing him back into the middle of a Phoenix-ring storyline would certainly qualify.

There is, however, one major problem with the theory: the hands in the promo appear much younger than Andre’s would be. Some viewers have pointed out that the smooth hands shown putting on the ring seem to belong to a younger man.

But Days of Our Lives has fooled viewers with promotional footage before, sometimes using body doubles or deliberately hiding an actor’s identity. So those hands may not tell us as much as fans think.

Another possibility circulating among fans is that the mystery man could be connected to Sami’s world. Others believe the show could be introducing an entirely new character or even recasting a familiar face. At this point, nothing is confirmed, which only makes the mystery more intriguing.

The Phoenix ring also raises a much darker possibility. What if Stefano left behind one final scheme? The promo could be hinting at a carefully designed plan that continues even after his death.

Someone appears to be watching Chad, Belle, and EJ, almost as though they are pieces on a DiMera chessboard. If that is really happening, the missing ring may be only the beginning.

And then there is the bizarre history of Andre himself. Soap operas have never treated death as a permanent obstacle, and Salem has repeatedly brought supposedly dead characters back into the story.

Andre’s supernatural connection makes his return even more outrageous—but also strangely believable within the world of Days.

Meanwhile, EJ is already spiraling without the ring. If someone deliberately stole it to destabilize him, the consequences could become explosive. Rita may be nothing more than a pawn, either being paid or pressured into carrying out someone else’s orders.

So, who is really wearing Stefano’s Phoenix ring? Andre? A mysterious new player? A recast familiar face? The September 7–11 episodes could finally give Salem fans the answer.
