Nikki Discovers the Ugly Truth About Victoria Next on Young and the Restless

Friday, September 11 is shaping up to be absolutely explosive, with Victor Newman once again proving that peace is apparently not an option when the Abbotts are involved.

Just when it seemed like Victor might finally relax after getting Nikki safely back, the Mustache appears ready to launch another dangerous chapter in the war between the Newmans and the Abbotts.

Victoria’s offer to Nikki to take the CEO position at VBronté could have been a fresh start, especially since Nikki wanted to handle things differently. She hoped to shut down the online social-media battle that Kyle Abbott started in an attempt to soften the feud.

But Diane Jenkins Abbott isn’t buying it. Diane suspects Victor sees this business rivalry as an all-or-nothing war, and if she is right, Nikki could find herself caught in the middle.

Even more suspicious is Nikki suddenly talking about the grandchildren. Could that conversation hint at a secret move Victor is preparing behind the scenes?

Victor has never been known for backing down, and if his goal is to crush Jabot once and for all, the Abbotts may have no idea what is coming.

Meanwhile, Jack Abbott is taking an enormous risk of his own. Despite still recovering from a stab wound, Jack refuses to sit back and wait for trouble to find him. Instead, he appears ready to set a trap for Patty Williams.

Patty’s escape has already created chaos. After unexpectedly turning up at Matt Clark’s door at the Riverbank Motel, she left Matt terrified that she could drag him into even deeper trouble.

With Phyllis Summers already having a serious grudge against Patty, Matt has plenty of reasons to panic. But Jack’s decision to target Patty could make this situation even more dangerous.

Will Jack’s trap actually work, or could the wounded Abbott be walking straight into another disaster?

And then there is the increasingly unstable alliance between Matt and Phyllis. Their plan to fake danger and stage a rescue designed to manipulate Sharon Newman is already in trouble.

Young & Restless Wednesday Recap: Nikki May Not Be Able to Forgive Victor

Sharon sensed something was wrong after Phyllis suddenly became suspiciously sweet at Crimson Lights, and now Matt’s mixed signals could destroy everything they have been planning.

Phyllis, however, has another agenda. She visits Nick Newman at the rehab facility and deliberately pushes his buttons about Matt.

Nick has been trying to rebuild his life after being blamed for Logan Kirkland’s death, and his progress in group therapy could be threatened by Phyllis stirring up old emotions.

That may be the most frustrating part of all—Nick is finally making progress, and Phyllis seems determined to drag him back into the chaos.

So, Y&R fans, Friday is packed with dangerous schemes, revenge, secret agendas, and betrayals. Will Victor’s latest move finally destroy the Abbott-Newman truce? Will Jack’s trap catch Patty, or will Patty turn the tables? And can Matt and Phyllis keep their scheme from collapsing?
