Thursday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful brings two major emotional storylines to the forefront. Deacon steps into his role as a protective father and gives Hope some much-needed advice, while Dylan is forced to confront a part of her past she has been desperately trying to leave behind.

Dylan has been under enormous pressure ever since Katie began questioning her relationship with Will. Katie believes there is something about Dylan that Will does not know, and her constant suspicion has made the young woman increasingly uncomfortable.

Now Dylan reaches a breaking point.

Instead of continuing to avoid questions about her background, she decides to contact her mother. Dylan asks Darcy Dylan to come to Los Angeles, opening the door to a completely new chapter in her story.

Darcy’s arrival could reveal why Dylan has been so guarded.

Darcy, played by Kelly Sullivan, makes her B&B debut on Thursday. She is expected to shed more light on Dylan’s upbringing and the experiences that shaped her daughter into the woman she is today.

Dylan may hope that having her mother nearby will help calm the situation.

Instead, Darcy’s presence could create even more questions.
