A new family member has been cast on The Bold and the Beautiful, and a special guest returns for the show’s latest venture to Monaco. Here’s the soap’s casting news for the week of August 10-14.

The Bold and the Beautiful is welcoming several familiar faces and new performers to its ever-expanding cast, with Kelly Sullivan’s arrival standing out as one of the most intriguing developments.
The daytime alum has been cast as Darcy Dylan, the mother of Sydney Bullock’s Melissa “Miss” Dylan. Sullivan is no stranger to soap fans, having previously portrayed Kate Howard and Connie Falconeri on General Hospital from 2011 to 2014 before joining The Young and the Restless as Sage Warner, a role she played from 2014 through 2016.
Sullivan has already begun filming and is scheduled to make her debut on the Los Angeles-based soap on August 27. Her casting could prove especially important for Melissa Dylan, whose storyline has recently attracted plenty of attention.
Darcy’s arrival gives viewers an opportunity to learn more about Melissa’s background and the circumstances surrounding her family. While the exact details of Darcy’s story remain under wraps, her presence could reveal where the soap intends to take Dylan’s character next.
The timing of Sullivan’s debut is particularly interesting because Melissa has already found herself at the center of complicated family and romantic drama.
Her relationship with Will Spencer has created tension, while Katie Logan has been increasingly suspicious of her intentions. Bringing Melissa’s mother into the picture could give the young character a stronger support system while also introducing new conflicts with the powerful families surrounding her.
Meanwhile, Elsa Esnoult is returning to The Bold and the Beautiful as Fanny Greyson. Katherine Kelly Lang’s Brooke Logan will receive upsetting news from Fanny on Tuesday, August 11.
Esnoult, who is also known as a French singer and actress, last appeared on the soap in June. Her return suggests that Fanny’s connection to Brooke and the Logan family still has unfinished business, and whatever news she brings could have an emotional impact.
The show’s current storyline in Monaco is also bringing several newcomers into the action. Mike Powers appears as Louis on Monday, August 10, followed by Melodie Casta as Simone on Wednesday, August 12. Sarah Bonrepaux will make an appearance as Chloe on Friday, August 14.
These characters may only have brief roles, but their appearances help build the international atmosphere surrounding the Monaco storyline.
Additional supporting performers are also joining the episodes. Richard Zanca appears as Finn’s driver on Tuesday, August 11, while Lassana Lestin plays Sheila’s driver on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Brittany Bardwell appears as a flight attendant on Tuesday, followed by Floriane Anderson, who plays another flight attendant on Thursday and Friday.
Arnaud Jouan is also scheduled to appear as a waiter on Wednesday, while Ingrid De Bellis takes on the role of a Monaco fan that same day.
With Kelly Sullivan’s upcoming debut, Fanny Greyson’s return, and a wave of new faces appearing in Monaco, The Bold and the Beautiful is clearly expanding its current storylines.
The biggest question remains what Darcy Dylan’s arrival will mean for Melissa and whether her presence will finally reveal secrets about Dylan’s past that could change her future in Los Angeles.
