The pressure inside Forrester Creations is reaching a dangerous breaking point, and one simple locked door may be enough to destroy two marriages.

As Steffy Forrester Finnegan and Carter Walton desperately try to keep their secret buried, Daphne Rose Walton is beginning to notice that something is seriously wrong. Her instincts are screaming at her, and the closer she gets to the truth, the harder it will become for Steffy and Carter to maintain their carefully constructed lies.

Daphne’s suspicions begin when she realizes that Carter already knows far too much about Steffy’s disastrous trip to Monaco. When she questions him about how he learned about the incident, Carter struggles to provide a convincing explanation. His nervous behavior only makes

Daphne more suspicious. Then everything becomes even worse when she arrives at the Forrester CEO office and discovers that the door is locked.

Inside, Carter and Steffy are having an extremely private conversation about their affair. Carter needs reassurance that Steffy has not confessed anything to Finn, especially after Finn promised that their marriage would now be based on complete honesty.

Steffy is terrified that one wrong word could expose everything. But their decision to lock the door creates the exact situation they were trying to avoid.

When Carter finally opens the door, Daphne finds Steffy standing inside. The tension between the two is impossible to ignore. Daphne immediately notices their guilty expressions and demands to know whether something is happening between them.

For Carter and Steffy, this is their worst nightmare. They must invent an explanation quickly, knowing that Daphne is intelligent enough to recognize when someone is lying.

Finn assumes that Steffy still cannot forgive him for keeping Sheila’s presence in Monaco a secret. He has no idea that his wife is suffering because of her guilt over sleeping with Carter.

Finn turns to Lee Finnegan for comfort, and their conversation becomes deeply emotional. Lee blames herself for the Monaco disaster because she accidentally left sensitive information on her laptop, allowing Sheila to discover Finn’s travel plans.

However, Finn refuses to let Lee carry the guilt alone. He insists that he should have told Steffy the truth immediately and taken greater responsibility for stopping Sheila.

The tragic irony is impossible to miss. Finn is desperately trying to repair his marriage through honesty while Steffy is protecting herself through deception. Carter is doing everything possible to prevent Daphne from discovering the truth, while Daphne is already putting the pieces together.
