The biggest emotional storyline involves Holly and EJ.
Holly is furious about what EJ did to her and refuses to simply forget the past. She has every reason to believe that EJ deliberately caused her suffering and then attempted to make the situation even worse.
Now Holly wants answers.
Her anger could force EJ into an uncomfortable confrontation. Holly is no longer willing to protect his reputation, and if she publicly challenges him, the DiMera family could face another major scandal.
EJ may try to deny everything.
But the more Holly pushes, the harder it becomes for him to control the situation. His secrets are already attracting attention, and another accusation could put him under enormous pressure.
Meanwhile, Stephanie makes a terrible mistake.
Her marriage to Alex has already been struggling, and Stephanie’s emotional connection with Theo could create even more problems. Alex is currently focused on supporting Kelsey while Joy prepares for a potentially life-changing surgery.
Stephanie, however, feels increasingly neglected.

The gathering could bring the Carver family together once again.
At the same time, Cat remains worried about EJ.
After remembering important details during hypnosis, Cat has reason to believe EJ may know more about her secret ISA identity than he admits. She must decide whether to report what she knows or protect herself by keeping quiet.
Her decision could become extremely dangerous.
Meanwhile, Chad faces another difficult choice involving Italy. The mystery surrounding Stefano’s chess set continues to pull him toward a dangerous investigation, while Marlena gives Belle something deeply meaningful that could help unlock another piece of the mystery.
Elsewhere, Philip and Gabi prepare for a major trip to Monte Carlo.
