General Hospital Spoilers: Drew, Ava, Brooklyn and Anna Face a Nightmare on September 9

General Hospital is heading into a brutally intense Wednesday, September 9, as several dangerous secrets threaten to explode at the same time.

Drew Kane is behaving more recklessly than ever, Ava Jerome is desperately trying to keep their darkest secret buried, Brooklyn Quartermaine is finally confessing the truth, and Trina Robinson may be ready to fight for justice.

Meanwhile, on Mount Emerson, Jason Morgan could find himself staring down the barrel of Anna Devane’s gun as Britt Westbourne’s life hangs in the balance.

Drew’s behavior may be the biggest warning sign of all. He storms into Sonny Corinthos’ home demanding to know where Scout is, even after being told she is not there.

The problem is that Drew should be doing everything possible to stay invisible. He and Ava are hiding the fact that Jack Brennan’s body has been buried, yet Drew’s anger and paranoia are making him look increasingly suspicious.

Ava immediately realizes how dangerous his behavior has become, especially when he starts talking about contacting the police. 

Ava also faces questioning about her whereabouts, forcing her to carefully control every word. The more Drew spirals, however, the harder it becomes for Ava to protect both of them. Their cover-up could collapse simply because Drew cannot keep his emotions under control.

At the same time, Scout and Rocco’s developing relationship provides a surprisingly innocent contrast to all the darkness.

Their recent kiss has left both teenagers awkwardly navigating new feelings. But that sweet connection could eventually become connected to Drew’s downfall. If Scout ever discovers what her father has done, she may be unwilling to protect him.

Then there is Brooklyn’s devastating confession. She finally admits to Trina that she was driving the other vehicle involved in Jordan and Curtis Ashford’s accident and fled the scene. Her silence allowed Willow to take the blame and contributed to Curtis’ disastrous legal situation.

Trina is unlikely to let Brooklyn’s tears erase the consequences. Once Harrison Chase and the others learn the truth, Brooklyn could face an emotional and personal nightmare of her own.

But the most dangerous confrontation comes on Mount Emerson. Anna Devane is reportedly hallucinating Peter August and refuses to lower her weapon while Jason tries to reach Britt. Jason is determined to save Britt, but taking another step could put his own life directly in the line of fire.

The tragedy is that Anna may genuinely believe she is doing the right thing. Her fractured state makes the confrontation even more unpredictable, while Jason’s determination could force a split-second decision with catastrophic consequences.

By the end of Wednesday’s episode, Drew, Ava, Brooklyn, Trina, Jason and Anna could all be standing dangerously close to disaster. One secret could expose another, and one emotional decision could change several lives forever.
