With recent departures, sudden storyline changes, and several characters facing increasingly dangerous situations, fans may have to prepare for a very different version of the soap in the months ahead.
The biggest question is no longer who might leave town temporarily, but who could face a permanent and tragic exit.
Jack Brennan has already disappeared from the immediate picture, while Justinda Bracken has also made her exit. Laura Collins, however, appears to be a different story.
