Next On General Hospital Friday, August 21, 2026 | GH 8/21/26 Spoilers
Friday’s episode of General Hospital promises another tense day in Port Charles as several characters face major turning points. Drew is ready to extend an olive branch, but his sudden desire for peace raises questions about his true intentions. Meanwhile, Sonny makes a surprise visit to Sidwell, Jordan receives an important vote of confidence, and Laura reaches out to Rocco.
Drew has spent considerable time fighting with the people around him, particularly after his decisions created serious problems for Curtis and his family. Now he appears ready to change his approach and make peace. However, not everyone may be willing to forget what Drew has done so quickly.

The biggest question is whether Drew’s olive branch is completely genuine. His recent behavior has made several people suspicious of his motives, and some may wonder whether his offer of peace is actually part of another strategy. Drew could be trying to repair damaged relationships while quietly protecting his own interests.
Meanwhile, Sonny makes a surprise visit to Sidwell in prison. The unexpected meeting immediately raises questions about Sonny’s intentions. Sidwell remains an important threat, and Sonny would not normally visit his enemy without a reason.
Sonny may want information about Sidwell’s business dealings, particularly the waterfront property that remains an important point of conflict. Their conversation could therefore become much more significant than either man initially expects.
Jordan is also facing a major change in her life. With Curtis beginning his prison sentence, she has accepted the temporary CEO position at Aurora Media. On Friday, someone gives Jordan a much-needed vote of confidence, helping her realize that she may actually be capable of taking on this enormous responsibility.
The new position could provide Jordan with a completely different future. She has spent much of her life working in law enforcement and government, so running a major company represents an entirely new challenge.
Elsewhere, Ava reassures Portia as Curtis prepares to begin his prison sentence. Portia is struggling with the reality of Curtis being away from his family, and Ava attempts to give her some emotional support. Their growing connection could become increasingly important in the aftermath of Curtis’s conviction.
Laura also has something important to say to Rocco. The young man has already been through an incredibly difficult period, and Laura knows that he needs guidance. Her request could involve a sensitive family matter and may force Rocco to confront emotions he has been trying to avoid.
As Friday’s episode moves toward its conclusion, several storylines remain unresolved. Drew’s attempt at peace could either repair a damaged relationship or reveal another hidden agenda, while Sonny’s prison visit could have consequences for the future power struggle in Port Charles.
Why does Sonny really want to see Sidwell? Can Drew’s olive branch be trusted? And what exactly does Laura want from Rocco?
With Jordan starting a new chapter, Curtis facing prison, and Sonny confronting an old enemy, Friday’s episode sets the stage for another dramatic week in Port Charles.
