Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful brings another round of family tension and romantic drama to Los Angeles. R.J. believes Forrester Creations needs something fresh.

With Hope now moving toward the Logan fashion house, R.J. sees an opportunity to create a new direction for Forrester. He has been working on a youth-focused fashion line and believes it could help the company attract a younger audience.

Now R.J. takes his idea directly to Ridge.

R.J. wants his father to seriously consider the new collection, and he already has someone in mind to become the face of the line. Electra could play a major role in the project, giving her another opportunity to establish herself in the fashion world.

Ridge will have to decide whether R.J.’s proposal is truly the right move for Forrester Creations.

The idea could also create new complications because Electra remains emotionally connected to Will. Even though Will has been moving forward with Dylan, Electra has not completely disappeared from his life. A new professional project could therefore bring several complicated relationships back together.

Meanwhile, Katie’s concerns about Dylan reach another level.

Katie has never been convinced that Dylan’s intentions toward Will are completely genuine. After seeing how quickly the two have become romantically involved, she worries that her son could be vulnerable after everything he experienced with Electra.

Katie is no longer willing to simply watch from the sidelines.

She may confront Will and warn him that he needs to be careful. Katie believes Dylan could be using Will for reasons that have nothing to do with love, and she wants her son to recognize the warning signs before it is too late.

Dylan, however, is unlikely to back down.

Will could find himself caught in the middle.

He wants to enjoy his new relationship without constantly hearing criticism from his family. But if Katie continues pushing him to choose sides, Will may have to decide whether protecting Dylan is worth creating another conflict with his mother.

At the same time, the secret involving Steffy and Carter continues hanging over the Forrester family. Ridge may still be unaware of what really happened between them, but the tension surrounding the secret is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. The consequences could become even more serious as the week progresses.
