Port Charles is once again drowning in secrets, and this time, Hudson Parker may be at the center of a storm that could completely change Jocelyn Jacks’ life.
At first, Hudson appeared to be nothing more than a corporate representative sent by Jasper Jacks to convince Jocelyn to leave the WSB and take a bigger role in the family business. But the more we see of Hudson, the less innocent he seems.
And now, after his violent confrontation with Ethan, fans have every reason to wonder what he is really hiding.
Jax’s decision to send Hudson instead of returning to Port Charles himself already feels suspicious. After learning that Jocelyn had been injured while working with the WSB, many would expect her father to rush home and personally intervene.
Instead, Hudson arrives as Jax’s mysterious proxy, offering Jocelyn an opportunity to step away from the dangerous world of espionage and embrace her future at Jax Enterprises. Jocelyn, however, refuses to give up her WSB career.
That decision has created an even bigger mystery. Why is Jax so determined to bring Jocelyn back into the family business, and why did he choose Hudson to deliver the message?
One increasingly interesting theory is that Hudson could actually be Jax’s secret son, which would make him Jocelyn’s half-brother.
Their awkward interactions certainly do not scream romance, despite the usual soap-opera assumption that a new male character introduced alongside a young female lead must become her love interest. Instead, Hudson and Jocelyn seem to have a strangely familiar, almost sibling-like dynamic.
But the biggest red flag may be Hudson’s behavior away from Jocelyn. Behind the polished corporate image, he appears capable of extreme violence.
His brutal confrontation with Ethan raises serious questions about his real agenda. Ethan may have been involved in questionable schemes surrounding baby Phoebe, including allegedly manipulating DNA evidence, but Hudson’s willingness to use violence suggests that something much bigger could be happening.
