The Young and the Restless’ Official First Airdate for New Co-Head Writers’ Material, Here’s When It Hits the Screen

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the end is in sight when it comes to Josh Griffith’s material as the show’s previous head writer.

Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor have been busy behind the scenes, so it won’t be long until the new co-head writing duo’s storylines start to air.

Although Y&R’s 54th season will begin on October 8, viewers will have to wait just a bit longer for O’Connor and Giddens’ work to make it to the screen.

November 11 will be the first official airdate of the material Giddens and O’Connor have penned.

Of course, O’Connor and Giddens will bring some fresh stories to the table, but they’ll also find ways to make what’s already happening on canvas work to their advantage.

Writing transitions can take a little time to fully play out, but there’ll hopefully be a noticeable shift once Giddens and O’Connor’s on-screen writing takeover takes place.

Griffith’s material is still airing right now and will take us through a good chunk of autumn, but it’s nice to know O’Connor and Giddens’ episodes aren’t too far off.
