Drew was đť—„đť—‚đť—…đť—…đť–ľđť–˝ – Cameron Mathison will definitely be leaving General Hospital
General Hospital fans, brace yourselves, because the latest hints from the show’s head writers could be pointing toward an absolutely devastating fall storyline for Drew Kane.
After months of increasingly reckless decisions, Drew may have finally pushed too many people too far. And if the clues are anything to go by, Cameron Mathison’s time in Port Charles could be running out.

The first major warning comes from Drew’s escalating feud with Sonny Corinthos. The writers have teased that this conflict will intensify and could have potentially fatal consequences. Those words immediately raise a huge question: who is actually in danger?
Sonny has survived mob wars, explosions, betrayals, and countless attempts to bring him down. Drew, meanwhile, has been steadily creating enemies everywhere he goes.
Drew’s obsession with Sonny has already pushed him into dangerous territory. He has been determined to challenge Sonny over Sidwell’s assets and has acted as though he can outmaneuver one of Port Charles’ most powerful figures.
But Sonny is changing his strategy, and Alexis Davis may be helping him figure out exactly how to deal with Drew. If Sonny decides to stop playing defense, Drew could discover that he has underestimated his opponent in a very serious way.
Then there is Nina Reeves, who may also be facing a terrible situation because of Drew. Drew has allegedly been working to frame Nina for Brennan’s death after helping cover up what happened to the WSB agent.
Brennan’s body was discovered at the Metro Court, and Drew and Ava became involved in the shocking cover-up. Even worse, Drew allegedly planted Brennan’s wallet in Nina’s car in an attempt to make her look responsible.
That decision could ultimately become Drew’s biggest mistake.
The writers have hinted that Nina may face a dark future this fall, but perhaps not as dark as the future awaiting those who seek her downfall. That wording is incredibly ominous. If Drew is ultimately exposed for framing Nina, the consequences could be catastrophic.
And then comes the third clue involving Alexis. The writers reportedly teased that Alexis is finished appeasing Drew and will look for any opportunity to permanently sever him from Scout. For Alexis, protecting her granddaughter is everything. If she believes Drew has become dangerous, she could take extraordinary steps to keep him away from Scout.
Put all three clues together, and one theory becomes impossible to ignore: Drew could be heading toward a shocking death storyline.
Of course, nothing here necessarily confirms that Drew will actually die. Soap operas are famous for fake-outs, presumed deaths, disappearances, and miraculous returns. Drew himself has already been presumed dead before, so another apparent death would certainly not be unprecedented.
But this time, the situation feels different. Drew has alienated Willow, clashed with Sonny, worked with Ava, threatened Nina’s future, and created tension even within his own family. He seems increasingly isolated, surrounded by people who have every reason to turn against him.
If Drew does fall, the aftermath could be enormous. Nina could be blamed. Sonny could become a suspect. Ava might turn on Drew to protect herself. Even the WSB could become involved if the truth about Brennan’s death emerges.
So the biggest question heading into the fall is this: Is Drew Kane about to face the ultimate consequence of his choices, or are the writers setting us up for the biggest fake-out of the year? Whatever happens, Port Charles may never be the same again.
