The Young and the Restless Jason Thompson Teases Exciting Stories & Wild Ride – Better Writing on Y&R
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that many viewers are in for a treat according to one cast member.
Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) recently posted a fun video on Instagram and tried to get fans hyped up for the positive changes ahead on the show.
Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor have taken over as Y&R’s co-head writers following Josh Griffith’s departure, but their work hasn’t made it to the screen yet.
However, Jason Thompson assured viewers that they have a lot to look forward to.
To kick off the video, Thompson admitted he had good news and bad news before deciding he’d offer the good news first.
“For people that like Billy and you want exciting stories on The Young and the Restless, I’m telling you it’s only getting better. You’re in for a hell of a ride,” Thompson said.
It definitely sounds like Jason Thompson approves of what’s in store for Billy and the direction for his character.
Since Thompson also talked about exciting stories in general, it seems he approves of the show’s direction overall as well.
Thompson also joked around by offering the bad news he hinted at.
For those who don’t like Billy and don’t want exciting stories, Thompson insisted those viewers are “out of luck because it’s happening anyway.”
Thompson also urged fans to “stay tuned” and got a ton of comments from Y&R watchers who are indeed eager to see things change for the better.
Jamey Giddens even chimed in with three hand-clapping emojis to show that he’s in agreement with Thompson.
Giddens then reposted the video on his Instagram story and backed Billy’s portrayer up with a “What @myjasonthompson said!”
There’s definitely a sense of excitement behind the scenes among the cast and crew.
It’s good to know that this writing transition has generated some buzz and that great things are in the works.
